being brought to life via dilated 

pupils of eyes as tantalizing 

individual likenesses of precise varieties 

along ground lines of uniform size 

in archaeological finds pursued by lions …

perceived as the triggering of mysterious ideas

in sinister imagery evoking notions of ghosts 

repeating, “This way only”

calculated by the irrationality 

of exploitive reasoning

perceived during unwieldy dreams
